Sunday JAM
Purpose of Sunday JAM
Sunday JAM is a volunteer-driven ministry of Fortress YDC and exists to provide YDC students with opportunities for spiritual growth through strong relationships, praise and worship, group activities, and Bible study.
Sunday JAM consists of van routes, lunch, classes and praise & worship. A core value of Fortress YDC, and the core purpose of Sunday JAM, is intimate relationship mentoring. Sunday JAM provides opportunities for volunteers to build authentic relationships with young people who need to know and be shown the love of Christ.
Sunday JAM (Jesus and Me) takes place each week from 12:30 - 2:00, and provides an opportunity for neighborhood children of all ages to come and join in a community of believers to share lunch, deepen relationships, praise and worship, and learn more about the Lord.
The Sunday JAM schedule:
- 11:30 - 12:30 - Van routes to pick up kids
- 1:15 - 2:00 - Bible Classes for each age group, followed by occasional outings such as playing at the park, special field trips, scrapbooking, etc.
