Building Blocks
Building Blocks Early Learning Center was launched in the fall of 2008, with an initial enrollment of 12 preschoolers in a 2-day/week program. By the spring of 2009, enrollment stood at 24 students, with a strong, committed volunteer staff of twelve.

Building Blocks Early Learning Center offers a quality early childhood program for children ages 18 months to 5 years, from 9:30 to 2:00 each Monday and Wednesday during the school year. Students are offered a fun, educational, nurturing environment where they not only learn academics, but also Godly concepts such as love, kindness and self-control.
Our goal is to develop meaningful relationships with the children and their parents.
The program provides:
- A nutritious breakfast and lunch each day
- Spiritual training
- Comprehensive academic curriculum
- Social and emotional training
- Gymnastics class twice per month
- Mrs. Moss the Science Boss every Monday
- Music class every Wednesday
- Loving, nurturing care
- Enrichment Programs
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
You can make a difference in the life of a child by supporting Building Blocks today either financially or with your time! Volunteer opportunities include:
- Participating as a classroom teacher or aide
- Preparing materials for class
- Reading to a child
- Teaching Parent Training classes
It is our dream to become a 5-day/week preschool program by 2010, and to add a pre-natal educational program for expectant mothers during the 2009/2010 school year.
