Summer JAM
JAM is a daily (Monday -Thursday) program for children ages 3 through 12, running June 14 through August 10. It features a weekly Bible curriculum(2010’s theme is “Gotta Grow” - a study of the Fruit of the Spirit), special interest clubs, arts and crafts, academic review, park time, weekly field trips, sports, and summer camp.
NEW THIS YEAR:
- Wednesday Worship - Fort Worth-area youth groups needed to host our teens and visiting youth groups for a devo or Bible study on a Wednesday evening. Please contact [email protected] to schedule your date.
- Sunday Home Group - Families or small groups needed to host our intern staff each Sunday evening. The purpose is to help prepare them spiritually and mentally for the upcoming week, and to give them an atmosphere of encouragement and peace. Please contact [email protected] to schedule your Sunday.

Overseen by Fortress staff and facilitated by college interns, Summer JAM relies heavily on volunteer groups who spend a week at a time nurturing, loving and mentoring our kids. If your group is interested in learning more about Summer JAM, or if you’re a returning group who wants to schedule a week for 2010, contact [email protected]. As of early April, we still have two weeks available! (see group schedule at the bottom of this page.)
Summer JAM Purpose: To provide a safe, fun, loving environment where children are encouraged to learn and grow, experience new things, and develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
