Originally a Dallas native, I moved to Fort Worth with my wife in August 2007, the same month of our marriage.  I also joined Fortress staff in August of 2007 to serve the southeast side of Fort Worth.

I pray that by putting God on display in words and deed, the students that I am able to work with will find a source of wisdom that will be authoritative in every facet of their lives and a thriving "faith-walk".

Previously I have been honored to mentor and minister to youth in the South Dallas community at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and the Park South YMCA, who have challenged my thinking about youth and ministry, and whom I miss dearly.  Currently, I am attending Dallas Seminary to complete a master's degree in Evangelism and Discipleship.

In my free time, you can typically find myself and my wife investing in quality time with one another…after all, we are newly weds.  A man who finds a wife finds favor with the LORD.
