My name is Terri Henson and I am the Director of Finance and Administration for Fortress YDC.  I was raised in Dallas and graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1976.  I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock with a BBA in Accounting.  Since my college graduation in 1979, I have had many "careers".  I have been an accountant, banker, stay-at-home mom, preschool teacher, preschool director, church secretary and office manager. 

I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 28 years and we have six children (2 boys and 4 girls) ranging in age from 27 to 13.  I became the part-time bookkeeper for Fortress in 2005 and joined the full-time staff in my current position in 2007.

The one thing I would like to say to the children and youth that come to Fortress is "Don't let the World dictate what you will become or who you will become.  You are valued because YOU are YOU—a child of God.  Be all that He wants you to be!"
