The Lord has brought us
a long way in a short
amount of time and we
are eager to see what
the future holds for our
kids, community and
programs!
Volunteer
As with most
non-profits, volunteers
will continue to be one
of Fortress Youth
Development Center's
most valuable
resources. As
"Relationally Based"
being one of our core
values, we believe the
greatest impact on lives
can be made with
intimate relationships
being formed between our
young people and
volunteers. Finding the
volunteer opportunity
that suits your skills
and availability is our
goal.
Three qualities are
required for those who
would volunteer to work
with the children, youth
and families of the
Fortress community: the
compassionate heart of a
servant, a gift for this
kind of ministry, and
training. Our goal
is to take those who
have a heart and the
gift of this ministry
and train them to work
in all aspects of the
programs.

Be a part of the
Fortress Prayer Team!
We use the blog
and email as our primary
sources of
communication, and try
to meet as a group once
a month to pray over the
building, over the
staff, over the Board of
Directors, etc.
We believe that prayer
is a critical component
in our efforts at
Fortress, and we need
your participation.
Whether you're far away
or local, you can be a
part of this important
