Hours:
Once per week, on Monday – Thursday, any hour between 3:30 and 5:45. We ask that you pick one day and commit to being here on that day each week for one hour – preferably the same hour each week.
Location:
Fortress YDC, 712 E. Stella, 76104 (on the northbound I-35 service road just southeast of downtown, off the Rosedale exit).
Our kids often come from lives riddled with broken promises and uncertainty. Our mentor program strives to foster a sense of wellbeing and value in our kids by establishing committed, genuine, positive relationships that the kids can come to depend on and grow in.
As you get to know your mentee, you may realize that the best way to build a relationship is just by helping him with homework, or by working on a project together, or by reading or playing games. We give you very few parameters – we just want you to commit to a kid and then love him and watch him succeed!
