Fortress Literacy Center (FLC) serves as our after-school program and follows the FWISD traditional calendar. We operate Monday-Thursday, from the time school lets out until 6:30. Special Friday activities take place roughly once a month and are hosted by area churches, private schools, youth groups, etc.
Our goal is not to just fill the building to capacity and increase literacy among the at-risk youth of Near Southeast Fort Worth, but to build relationships with every child who walks through our doors—sharing, laughing and crying alongside them as we introduce them to an abundant life in God through Jesus Christ.
