Mason Wagner
Community Relations & Volunteer Coordinator

Mason is the Community Relations and Volunteer Coordinator and is responsible for overseeing the volunteer mentor programs as well as the mission groups that serve at Fortress. Mason is a metroplex native and graduated from Texas Christian University in May 2018 as a double major with a Bachelors of Arts in Religion and Communication Studies. He is passionate about working with kids, especially in Fort Worth where he has served as a youth minister for 3 years. Mason was drawn to Fortress to create a safe and supportive place for kids to grow in their faith and character through connecting them with strong mentors who will care for them.

Mason is from Euless Texas but will tell you he’s from Fort Worth and loves all things considered “nerdy.” Mason is also a huge church nerd and music snob so beware of bringing up your favorite Bible verses or bands because he will talk your ear off. Mason is married and his wife Katie is a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Fort Worth. Together they have a little corgi named Bernie and they treat him as if he were a human child.
