Chris Martin
Support & Resource Coordinator

Chris is the new Support and Resource Coordinator at Fortress. Though new to the staff at Fortress, Chris has volunteered for many events over the last four years. He looks forward to getting to know all the Fortress families and serving them any way he can.

Chris earned his Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has experience working as a counselor and group facilitator, and is eager to use his skills and experience to support Fortress’s programs and staff. As the Support & Resource Coordinator, some of Chris’s primary duties include greeting all guests, students, and staff at the front desk, disseminating information to parents and guests, managing student and family data, and maintaining a working database of local agencies and their services. He feels proud to serve on the Fortress staff and is optimistic about his future here.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys football season (Go Cowboys!), watching movies, binging on Netflix, grilling for his family, singing karaoke, hanging out with his geriatric puppy, Romo, and spending time at his family’s cabin in the mountains of New Mexico.

Chris is happily married to the love of his life, Stacy. He has one son, two bonus sons, and a bonus daughter- all of whom he is immensely proud.
