  1. How long has the Fortress Holiday Gift Market been going on?
    This is our first year to host the Holiday Gift Market. Our director has 20+ years of experience in artist and makers events, and is bringing her expertise to Fortress for the first time! Additionally, the team behind the Market have a combined 35 years experience hosting successful fundraising events.

  2. What is the expected turnout?
    We anticipate welcoming several hundred shoppers.

  3. How are you advertising the event?
    We will be advertising the Market through traditional methods, such as email and social media (where we have a reach of 2,500 and 1,500 respectively). Additionally, we will have an advertising banner facing I-35, just south of Downtown Fort Worth, plus marketing through our event partners and you, our vendors!

  4. What is included with a table or booth rental?
    Table rentals include one six foot table. Booth rentals include a 10x10 space completely customizable by the vendor. By request, we may be able to supply 6 ft. rectangle or 5 ft round tables to booth vendors.

  5. How will I transport items upstairs if I have an upstairs booth or table?
    Volunteers will be available to assist vendors who are setting up upstairs. We will be happy to assist you in carrying your transportable items to your upstairs area.

  6. What is my vendor fee supporting?
    All proceeds from your vendor fee go to Fortress Youth Development Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to igniting a brighter future for urban youth by engaging them today and equipping them for tomorrow. Learn more about Fortress YDC by exploring our website or our Facebook page!

  7. Where will the Market be held?
    The Fortress Holiday Gift Market will be held at Fortress Youth Development Center (712 Stella St) in Fort Worth’s Historic Southside neighborhood. Facing I-35 and within walking distance of the popular Near Southside, this is an ideal location to reach some of Fort Worth’s most desirable clients!

  8. Do you allow MLM vendors?
    To maintain the quality and competitiveness of this market, MLM businesses are restricted to one per type of business (i.e. one essential oils vendor regardless of specific brand).

  9. What time will I need to set up?
    Set-up will begin between 7:30-8:00am. All vendors must be set up no later than 9:45am.
