Ethan Weber
Community Relations Coordinator

Ethan is the Community Relations Coordinator at Fortress where he excels at developing relationships and collaborations with community leaders and fellow agencies. He oversees all of our volunteers (individuals and groups), developing community with churches and civic groups across Tarrant County and beyond. He also works directly with our students and parents by planning our community outreach events. He is a May 2014 graduate of Texas Christian University with a degree in strategic communication. He first came to Fortress in August 2013 as an after-school teacher. He was drawn to the opportunity because he loves working with kids and wanted to challenge himself by working with a new demographic. He loves being a positive male role model for kids that may not have many in their lives. Even with only 3-4 hours to be that role model each day, it can make an impact on some of our kids that will last a lifetime. Ethan feels privileged to be a part of that growth for the kids!

Ethan is a native Nebraskan, and is still super passionate about his home state (Go Big Red!). He comes from a family of athletes; his dad Bill played football at the University of Nebraska, his sister Tori is a senior playing soccer at the University of Nebraska Kearney, and his brother Will is a former professional soccer player overseas. His main passions are supporting DFW sports teams (Go Frogs!), hanging/socializing with friends and listening to/playing music. He also loves hanging out with kids in any capacity and occasionally still acts like one.
