youth to experience powerful life change in order to
become productive Christian adults.

God has called us to be dedicated teachers, training
our children and youth to see that their value comes
from being a child of God. We feel strongly that our
greatest impact comes through strong interpersonal
relationships focusing on trust, understanding and
caring.
Empowered by Jesus
As
Christians, we recognize that God's power dwells in
us. God has called us to serve and it is He who
gives us the ability, strength, courage, and passion
to do so.
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show
that this all-surpassing power is from God and not
from us."
(2 Corinthians 4:7)
Unconditionally Committed
The negative environment that many of Fort Worth's
inner city children face make the job of building
authentic relationships a long, arduous task.
We are committed to the long-term vision of bringing
the love of Jesus Christ to the children and youth
of inner-city Fort Worth.
"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as
some understand slowness. He is patient with
you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to
come to repentance."

Efficient and Effective
Through fervent prayer, we diligently seek God's
will in designing opportunities that help move the
children, youth and their families of inner-city
Fort Worth toward a relationship with God.
"For
this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not
stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the
knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and
understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live
a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way:
bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of
God…"
(Colossians 1:9-10)
Holistic
Fortress
Youth Development Center serves the whole child.
It is our goal to reflect the love of God and share
Jesus with the children and youth of inner-city Fort
Worth through spiritual, physical, social, emotional
and academic training.
"I can do everything through him who gives me
strength."
