Don’t you just love a good story?
Fortress Youth Development Center has some good stories.
Stories of children who have broken the cycle of generational poverty.
Stories of children who got an education, a meal, a friend.
Stories of children who found God.
There are many more stories out there, but we need you to help write them.
Fortress’s 4th Annual Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday, October 29th
at Legacy Church of Christ in North Richland Hills.
The theme this year is, appropriately, “Story Land.”
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Be a sponsor (see Sponsorship Form)
- Decorate a table (guidelines below)Attend the event
- Solicit donations (forms and request letters are here and here)
- Donate items
Items to consider are:
- Sports tickets/memorabilia
- Vacation lodging/timeshares
- Event tickets—concerts, theater, etc
- Jewelry/Antiques/Art
- Gift cards (restaurants, retail, services)
This is certainly not an all-inclusive list. Get creative and think outside the box!
This is largest event of the year for Fortress. One hundred percent of proceeds from the event go directly into programs at Fortress. Only with your help can these stories of success and hope continue to be written. Only with your help can we continue to share the greatest story of all.
