We offer several programs designed to help children ages 18 months to 8th grade break the cycle of generational poverty and oppression. During our morning and after-school programs students will learn literacy and math skills, have the opportunity to receive help with homework, be encouraged to express their creativity, develop a meaningful relationship with a personal mentor, enjoy a home-cooked dinner each day, go on field trips, and much more. During the summer we offer a 9-week program that keeps our kids active in a fun, loving, and safe environment. All of our programs are completely free.
As a non-profit organization we depend on generous volunteers to help us achieve our goal of igniting powerful change in the lives of urban youth in Fort Worth, TX. We are relationally-based, unconditionally committed, and Christ-centered. Our strategy is to form authentic relationships with each child and equip them with life skills using the best academic, emotional, and spiritual resources available. Are you able to tutor or read with a student, mentor a child for 1-hour per week, provide dinner, house a summer intern, run a donation drive, offer prayers, or help in any other way? We need you!
